Our 2017 calendar is now available from our shop priced £9.99.
The idea of the CATH Calendar was to engage our service users in a fun and unique project, while challenging the stereotypical imagery of homelessness.
The concept was to hand out disposable cameras to our service users to capture an image of Perth that meant something to them.
Our initial thought was if we could engage 4 or 5 service users in this project then staff and CATH volunteers could also take part and take photos. However we were totally overwhelmed by the support this project received from our service users.
15 engaged with the project and attended the workshops.
We were also supported by four pupils from Perth Grammar who won the Youth Philanthropy Initiative and donated the £3000 they won to the CATH calendar project. They also helped us choose the final 12 photos for the calendar. Our calendar was designed by students from Perth College, and they’ve made it look fantastic.
