CATH welcome Richard Howat as their new Chief Executive Officer. Richard started on 22 March 2021. He comes with 20 years’ experience working in the Third Sector for homeless Charities.

In addition to managing services Richard has been involved in developing social enterprise and has a strong track record in meaningfully involving service users in the delivery and development of services.

At the recent AGM Richard said, “I am so impressed by the staff at CATH. Despite the impact of the Covid-19 restrictions they have managed to maintain face to face support across their projects. That speaks volumes about the dedication of the staff team. I look forward to joining them and helping them continue with their good work.”

The Management Committee are pleased to have Richard in post and in turn look forward to working with him over the coming years. CATH is entering a period of change and his knowledge and experience of the sector will play a significant part in taking the organisation forward.
